We are a proud "Army Town" and feel privileged to show our appreciation for the sacrifices of our active and retired military members and their families. The 2nd annual Hooray for Heroes! was a great day of prizes, give-aways, live band music, games for children, free lunch, clowns and much more! Our community went "all out" by setting up booths designed to pamper those who serve(d), and the day culminated in a very special program (inside Stithton Baptist Church) dedicated solely to our uniformed heroes, both past and present. Please see our photo album for a glimpse of how wonderful Hooray for Heroes! 2007 was. Plans are underway for Hooray for Heroes 2008! and we're raising the bar on this wonderful event!
