We are a very proud "Army Town" and, for the fourth year in a row, have been privileged to show our appreciation for the sacrifices of our active and retired military members and their families through the 4th annual Hooray for Heroes! The event was another great day of prizes, give-aways, live band music, games for children, free lunch, clowns and much more! Our community went "all out" by setting up booths designed to pamper those who serve(d), and the day culminated in a very special program (inside Stithton Baptist Church) with Extreme Home Makeover star, Patrick Henry Hughes, performing and communicating his appreciation for all our uniformed heroes have given to protect our freedom.
